Beware of buffs, scrubbing machines, products containing benzoyl peroxide glycolic acid, toners and creams laced with tretinoin, adapalene, or tazarotene, these all can irritate your skin and increase oil production. Be careful to preserve your skin’s natural anti-aging mechanism from removing excess oil. Try reducing your intake of carbohydrates and sugar and also exercised 3 x a week. Some of my clients saw a great improvement.

Research claims eating a proper and balanced diet may help many skin conditions according to a report published in “Lipids in Health and Disease” in 2012. Keep oily skin from becoming inflamed and acne-ridden. Replace refined-grain products such as white bread, pretzels and instant rice with whole grains like quinoa, brown rice and popcorn. Cut back on sugary items such as candy, cakes, cookies and pastries. Reach for naturally sweet fiber sources such as berries, yams, mangoes and apples instead. Consuming more omega-3s include oily fish, such as salmon and mackerel, flaxseeds and walnuts. Consume fewer saturated include fatty meats, such as steaks and bacon; high-fat dairy products, such as whole milk; and fried foods. Consume fewer trans fats processed foods, such as commercially made cakes, cookies, pastries, pizza dough and pie crusts, along with any products that list hydrogenated vegetable oil as an ingredient, which increase inflammation. Increase you intake of fruits, vegetables and water and exercise 3 times a week. If you think back in the past, there has been increased cases of skin conditions. I believe one of the causes is processed foods.

One study by the AAD has expressed that Vitamins and Minerals topically can reduce the affects of aging. Antioxidants prevent damage, or correct damage such as reducing wrinkles and dark spots. Peptides are usually only in eye creams, but we have added one of the most effective peptides, according to the famous Cleveland Clinic, for skin regeneration in our cream .

It’s a fact that Collagen only comes from the food we consume, not topically. Foods for collagen production:

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a key nutrient in collagen and elastin production and can be a limiting factor if you don’t obtain sufficient quantities in your diet. Many plant foods offer significant amounts of vitamin C. Guavas pack the biggest vitamin C punch of all, with 165 milligrams in one medium-sized fruit. Red bell peppers, watermelon, strawberries, broccoli and tomatoes are also good sources and more readily available in non-tropical locales. In addition, load up on leafy greens, cauliflower and cabbage. Vitamin C is sensitive to heat, so foods eaten in their raw form will retain more of their vitamin C than cooked foods.

Vitamins B and E

B-complex vitamins and vitamin E contribute to collagen formation, according to registered dietitian Pamela Smith, author of the book “When Your Hormones Go Haywire: Solutions For Women Over 40.” Good sources of B-complex vitamins include green leafy vegetables, broccoli, cauliflower, peas and beans and fortified cereals. Vitamin E can be obtained from wheat germ, nuts and seeds and vegetable oil.

Phytoestrogens

One of estrogen’s effects on the body is to promote collagen and elastin production and prevent them from being broken down. Low estrogen levels, as in menopause, lead to the characteristic skin, bone and joint changes associated with menopause-related aging. Phytoestrogens, chemicals in some plant foods that mimic the effects of estrogen, can help counteract the loss of estrogen and thereby slow down the loss of collagen and elastin or, in some cases, restore their levels. There are over 300 foods that contain phytoestrogens, according to Cornell University. Beans, such as soy provide a type of phytoestrogen known as isoflavonoids. Lignans, another category of phytoestrogens, are found in bran and flaxseeds. A third category of phytoestrogens, known as coumestans, are contained in split peas, pinto beans and alfalfa and clover sprouts.

Gelatin

Gelatin, a protein formed when collagen is broken down, can also help build it up. Gelatin is an animal product often derived from cows and pigs but also obtained from fish and poultry. It is the ingredient that makes Jell-O jiggle and forms a clear, congealed layer on cooked meats, noticeable particularly after they have been cooled. Commercially, gelatin is made from bones and hides. You also produce gelatin at home when you cook a pot roast long enough to break down the tough connective tissues, commonly known as gristle. Aspic, a gelatin dish, is made by setting various combinations of vegetables, meats or eggs in gelatin to form a mold. Eating any of these foods will help your body manufacture collagen.

To preserve a youthful look, it is imperative to use sunscreen, sleep on your back, exercise regularly to relieve stress, get enough sleep, keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water (place a humidifier in home, bedroom and also at work). It is a fact that Dry skin causes wrinkles. Your skin rejuvenates every 7 years by maintaining a 5.5 pH level, hydration and using the essential ingredients all with proper nutrition. Athlete’s Foot

What is Athlete’s Foot?
Athlete’s Foot is a fungal skin infection that can cause peeling, redness, itching, burning and sometimes blisters and sores. Athlete’s Foot is contagious, passes by direct contact, sharing shoes worn by infected person, or by walking barefoot in areas such as locker rooms or near pools.alathlese foot

Perfect Skin Naturally Cream is an Anti-Bacterial, Anti-Microbial and Anti-Fungal, which is extremely effective in treating this condition.

Tips:

  • If you experience excessive sweating in the feet, avoid wearing plastic or rubber shoes as these trap moisture. Leather is a natural material that allows the feet to breathe. But make sure that your shoes are not too tight and uncomfortable. Another very important tip is to avoid sharing your shoes with others.
  • Keeping feet and the inside of shoes clean and dry is important in treatment.
  • Wear socks made of cotton and other natural fibers as they absorb moisture. Change your socks twice or three X day if you engage in sports activities or experience excessive sweating.
  • It is advisable to wash your socks in hot water in order to destroy fungal spores.
  • Also remember to wash your hands properly after touching affected areas.
  • It would also be a good idea to wash the tub or bathroom floor with an antiseptic cleaner after bathing.
  • Never walk barefoot in public showers or common locker rooms. Always wear flip-flops.

Apply Perfect Skin Naturally Cream to affected area 2 X daily.

  • Include fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. Fruits that are rich in vitamin C are especially beneficial as they strengthen your immune system.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of protein through foods such as lean chicken, turkey and dairy products. These help in regulating metabolism and also help in healing and tissue repair.
  • Avoid eating too much sugar as this can interfere with healing. High levels of sugar can also encourage the growth of bacteria.

Cold Sores/Canker Sores
Cold sores also known as fever blisters, are small sores, or blister-like lesions on the face or inside the mouth. They usually cause pain, a burning sensation, or itching before they burst and crust over. Most commonly, cold sores appear on the lips, chin, and cheeks, inside the nostrils and less frequently no the gums or the palate (roof of the mouth).cold sores

The sores are caused by the herpes simplex viruses; the most common cause of sores around the mouth is herpes simplex type 1, or HSV-1. Much less commonly, cold sores may be caused by HSV-2 (herpes simplex type 2.)

Cold sores are different from canker sores. However, people sometimes mistakenly associate one with the other. A canker sore is a small crater in the lining of the mouth – it is frequently painful. Canker sores are also known as aphthous ulcers. Canker sores occur in the soft tissue of the mouth, where cold sores do not appear.

Triggers

  • Mental stress –
  • Deep sadness or upset
  • An injury to the affected area
  • Menstruation
  • Intense sunlight

Apply Perfect Skin Naturally Cream to affected area 2-3 times daily, since it is a safe, powerful healing cream, just a dot is needed. Listen to YouTube meditations and exercise.

Eczema and Allergies
The substance that bring on an allergy attack: dust mites, pollen, animal dander and mold can cause some people with atopic dermatitis to break out in a rash. Food allergies also can trigger a flare-up. These allergies cause the immune system to overact, activating cells to produce inflammation in the skin. Mild irritants, such as wool, detergents, astringents, or fragrances and even emotional stress can cause a flare-up.

Eczema and Scratching
People with eczema may scratch as many as 500 to 1,000 times a day. Scratching worsens the rash and can increase the risk of infection due to breaks in the skin. Perfect Skin Naturally Cream provides relief from these symptoms on contact.

Almost all people with eczema have Staphylococcus aureus bacteria on their skin, compared with just about 5% of people without eczema. Signs of infection include, pus or fluid blisters, scaly red patches, swelling and even fever.

The goal of treatment for eczema is to relieve and prevent itching, which can lead to infection. Since the disease makes skin dry and itchy, creams are recommended to keep the skin moist.

Psoriasis

What is Psoriasis?
Psoriasis is a skin disease that causes scaling and inflammation (pain, swelling, heat and redness). Skin cells grow deep in the skin and slowly rise to the surface. This process is called cell turnover, and it takes about a month. With psoriasis, it can happen in just a few days because the cells rise too fast and pile up on the surface.

perfect psorisis

Most psoriasis causes patches of thick red skin with silvery scales. These patches can itch or feel sore. They are often found the elbows, knees, other parts of the legs, scalp, lower back, face, palms and soles of the feet. But they can show up other places such as fingernails, toenails, genitals and inside the mouth.

What Causes Psoriasis?
Psoriasis beings in the immune system, mainly with a type of white blood cell called a T cell. T cells help protect the body against infection and disease. With psoriasis, T cells are put into action by mistake. They become so active that they set off other immune responses. This leads to swelling and fast turnover of skin cells. People with psoriasis may notice that sometimes the skin gets better and sometimes it gets worse. Things that can cause the skin to get worse include:

Sunlight exposure (5 – 10 min a day) is the best way to obtain the perfect amount of vitamin D for your skin. UVB treatments can also help relieve psoriasis – under a physician’s care. Try yoga for psoriatic psoriasis, it will ease your joint pain.

New daily intake numbers of vitamin D being suggested by some experts are:

  • for adults less than 50 years old – 1000 to 2000 IUs
  • for adults over the age of 50 years old – 1000 to 2000 IUs

Always consult a physician. As with most vitamins, too much intake can produce health problems.

Rosacea

What is Rosacea?
Rosacea is a chronic, inflammatory skin condition which principally affects the face. Rosacea causes facial redness and produces small red, pus-filled pustules (bumps). Rosacea worsens with time if left untreated. It is often mistaken for acne or eczema, or some other skin allergy.

Approximately 1 in every 20 Americans – 14 million people – are estimated to be affected with Rosacea-Treatment-before & afterRosacea.

What are the signs and symptoms of Rosacea?
Many signs and symptoms are associated with rosacea; however they may vary considerably from person-to-person. The following signs and symptoms tend to be present in most cases:

  • Flushing (easily blushing) This is usually the first sign of what many call pre-rosacea. Flushing episodes can last as long as five minutes. The blush can spread from the face down to the neck and chest. Some people say the skin feels unpleasantly hot during flushing episodes.
  • Facial skin hyper-reactivity – Sensitive blood vessels dilate very easily to topical triggers (touch) and some other physical stimuli, such as sunlight.
